Sage Pay 'pay now' option
To help you get payments quicker, there’s a new ‘pay now’ button that you can add
to PDF documents if you are a Sage Pay user. For example, if you send invoices by
email you can now embed a ‘pay now’ button in your invoice. This lets your customers
make immediate card payments online via the Sage Pay website - which provides more
flexibility of payment as well as the benefit of you improving your cash flow.
Import from Microsoft Excel
To save time on data input, you can now import data that has been saved in a Microsoft®
Excel file. You can also import data from .csv files. So you can save time on transferring
facts and figures about projects, stocks and much more.

Latest legislation updates
If you trade in the EC, your VAT returns now need to show a clear split between
goods and services. With the latest software, you can set different tax codes for
goods and services, so it’s easy to comply. And, as online VAT submissions become
mandatory, you’ll also find the submissions process easy to use.

Credit from an invoice
Do you ever need to reduce the value of an invoice, for example because of non-delivery
of goods or a change in the order? The credit button allows credits to be created
from an invoice and allocated against it. This is done automatically, saving you
time and reducing errors.

Record Barcodes
You can now record barcodes on a new field within the software – and print them
off on reports too. It’s a great way to track and trace products and documents or
speed up stock takes and pick lists. If you currently use barcode software, this
will be a real time saver for both you and your customers.

New Report Browser
Reports give you the information you need to manage your business. In the new Sage
Instant Accounts it’s quicker to browse through reports as they’re all in one place.
You’ll also find it quick and easy to add the most useful reports as ‘favourites’
and select the ‘most recently run’.
