- This prize draw promotion is promoted by Sage
(UK) Limited, whose registered office is at North Park, Newcastle
upon Tyne NE13 9AA (“Sage”). By submitting your entry you indicate
your acceptance of these rules.
- No purchase is necessary to enter this
promotion, which is open to anyone older than 18 who is resident in
the UK and has internet access. If you yourself do not pay the
charge for your access to the internet, you should obtain the
permission of the person who does before entering this promotion.
Employees of Sage, their families, or any organisation
professionally involved in this promotion are not eligible to
enter.
- Entries must be made on this online entry
form. The closing date by which entries must be received by Sage to
be included in the draw is 31 August 2009. Sage will not award a
prize for entries not made on this form, which are incomplete or
received by Sage after the closing date of the promotion, are made
fraudulently or from those who do not comply with these rules.
Subject to rule 10, Sage will not be responsible for any entries
which are not received due to technology problems.
- If you enter this promotion
you agree that Sage may use your personal
details as follows: to administer and run this promotion
(including making announcements about prize winners); to send
you other promotional material relating to any of Sage’s products
or services. You can choose whether Sage sends you marketing
information by email at any time by changing your preferences for
your profile or account via the sage.co.uk web site or by calling
our customer care team on 0845 111 6666; as otherwise described in
these rules. To do this we will retain the personal details you
submit on our database for a reasonable, necessary time and we may
need to share your details with our agents or contractors who help
us to run our marketing and promotional activities. If you
do not consent to such use of your personal details please do not

- The prize is one of ten Nintendo DS Lites
with Brain Training Game. The winning entries will be the first ten
names drawn at random on 25 September 2009. Sage will only award
one prize per person. If there are less than 30 entries, Sage
reserves the right to only award some, or none, of the prizes.
Depending on what details they submit, winners will be notified
either by phone, post or email within 14 days of the prize being
drawn. Subject to rule 10, Sage will not be liable for any failure
of any such notice to be successfully delivered to a
winner.
- By accepting a prize, winners agree to
co-operate with Sage for publicity purposes free of charge, to
include the publication (including on the internet) of their names
and photographs in the announcement of the result by Sage.
- Winners’ names will be available from Sage
upon written request sent to the registered office address above
for the attention of the Marketing team, together with a stamped
addressed envelope.
- No cash prize alternative is available.
Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. They are not
transferable. Sage reserves the right to substitute any prizes with
a prize of equivalent or greater value.
- Prizes will be forwarded by Sage as soon as
reasonably possible after a prize winner has replied to the
notification of their win, if they have informed Sage of the postal
address to which the prize should be sent. Prizes unclaimed after
one month will be deemed to have been forfeited and Sage reserves
the right to offer the prize to the next drawn entrant, or to
re-offer the prize in a future competition.
- Sage reserves the right to amend these terms
and conditions. Sage also reserves the right to cancel this
promotion at any stage if relevant circumstances arise outside
Sage’s control. Nothing in these rules shall exclude or limit
Sage’s liability in respect of personal injury or death caused by
Sage, or for fraud. These rules are governed by the laws of England
and by entering this promotion you submit to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of England.
