Data Repair Services: Help with lost or corrupted Sage files

Overview

Our Data Repair Service is run by a specialised team dedicated to correcting and retrieving Sage software data files. They specifically repair data for the following products:

• Sage Instant Accounts and Sage Instant Accounts Plus
• The Sage 50 Accounts family
• Sage 50 Payroll and Sage 50 Payroll Professional
• Sage 50 Job Costing
• Sage 50 Financial Forecasting and Sage WinForecast Professional

Our timescales depend on your needs:

• Five Working Days
  Available to SageCover, SageCover Extra and non-SageCover customers, our standard data service returns customer data within five working days.
• One Working Day
  Available to SageCover, SageCover Extra and non-SageCover customers, our express data repair service aims to return a customer's data within one working day.
• Overnight 
  This service runs outside of the normal Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 business working hours and is available to SageCover, SageCover Extra and non-SageCover customers.
• Weekend Data repair service
  This service operates over the weekend and is available to SageCover, SageCover Extra and non-SageCover customers.

Sending us your data

It's simple; you can send us your data by using the My Uploads section located in My Account area of the site (you'll need to be logged in to view it) or via email, zip disk, DVD or CD.

Data Repair Service Terms & Conditions

We will use our reasonable endeavours to repair the data and return it to you within a fixed period of receipt of the data.

We aim to return the data sooner than this, but may need the full period where repair of the data requires this. We may also need more than the full fixed period to repair the data. In such circumstances we shall inform you of this and of the date when we will repair the data, but shall not be liable to you for failing to repair the data within the full fixed period.

It shall be your responsibility to ensure that the data is in order once returned to you and any reliance you place on the returned data shall be at your own discretion and risk.

If you opt for the Express, Overnight or Weekend Data Repair Service, extensions of the fixed period will not apply, unless otherwise agreed with you.

Please note that Sage reserves the right to make changes to its prices from time to time and you will be notified of any change affecting you. In the unlikely event that we are unable to repair your data there will be no charge for work undertaken in connection with trying to do so, and Sage shall have no further liability in relation to the data.

Please refer to your software licence agreement for notice of Sage's limitation of liability in relation to the software.

This limitation shall also apply to data repair.

In sending the data to Sage you consent to the collection by Sage (UK) Limited of any personal information in such data (for example, name, e-mail address and any other identifying data) and confirm that Sage is properly authorised on behalf of yourself, for the above information to be collected by Sage (UK) Limited and used to locate and repair any damaged data.

I understand that all information provided will be treated as strictly confidential, is for the sole use of Sage (UK) Limited in relation to this service and will not under any circumstances whatsoever be distributed to any third parties.
