At Sage, we recognise the importance and benefits of work based learning
For the first time in 2012, we offered twelve apprenticeship opportunities across our Manchester and Newcastle offices in Administration, Customer Service, IT and Product Development roles.
Following the success of these opportunities, the Sage apprenticeship scheme steadily grew and last year saw Sage offer 56 new apprenticeship opportunities in our Newcastle and Manchester offices, across a wide selection of business areas. Already some of these apprentices are in permanent roles and many are progressing to their next level of qualification with us.
Apprenticeships at Sage
We are pleased to again be looking for new apprentices to join Sage across a varied selection of our business areas in 2016. If you are passionate about developing your skills and experience with us, you will find our current opportunities on the Sage careers page.
The Sage apprenticeship scheme offers career opportunities in a variety of business areas across a number of our UK sites including:
- Customer Service
- Product Development
Each business area offers a great opportunity to learn new skills and gain qualifications at the same time.
Careers at Sage
We're a global company, employing over 13,000 people worldwide, but our roots remain here in the UK where we started. Our headquarters are in Newcastle upon Tyne, and we have offices in Manchester, Winnersh and London. We produce software and services that help businesses better manage their finances, people, customers and operations.
We’re known for our software, particularly for accounts and payroll, but that’s not all we do - over 40% of our employees work in customer support, service or training roles. Many have been with us since the start of their working life , developing alongside our growing business and going on to career success.
Find your ideal apprenticeship
You can search and apply for our current apprenticeship opportunities on our careers page. Alternatively, we are currently working with the NECC and Baltic Training to promote our apprenticeship opportunities, and provide training. If you are thinking about applying for an apprenticeship, or just want to find out more about your options for the future, the Government’s Find An Apprenticeship service is a good place to start, with lots of helpful information.
