Sage Pulse survey 2010
Every year, our Accountants’ Division
undertakes its ‘Pulse’ research, which aims to understand the
current and most important issues impacting the accountancy
Profession and what the profession needs to do to address these
issues.
Once again, Sage Accountants’ Division has undertaken the Pulse
research survey. It gives valuable insight into what you and your
clients really think – about business, about the industry, and also
the external factors that affect your practice.
For the 2010 Sage Pulse we questioned 321 accountants in
practice and 325 senior decision makers at small and medium-sized
enterprises (SMEs) or start-ups.
Our research found that the working
relationship between accountants and clients is closer than ever,
and that despite the economic downturn most accountancy practices
expect to grow over the next year, helped by growing demand for
advice on complying with new regulations.
We've produced a Pulse Guide to take
you through the key findings of this year's survey. Plus we take a
further look at what this means for the accountants in
practice in our new
Sage Pulse white paper.
