Approval Standard: ISO 9001: 2000
Our quality management system is complemented by the approval
standard ISO 9001:2000, Certificate No. LRQ 0941130, expiry date 31
July 2010 (Certification Body: LRQA).
Sage was first approved to ISO 9001 on 9 August 1995, and our
scope of approval includes:

Development, production and maintenance of business management
software in accordance with the TickIT scheme, including associated
distribution, training services, support and provision of standard,
personalised and customised accounting stationery.

What is ISO 9001:2000?
ISO 9001:2000 is an approval standard for quality management
systems. ISO 9001: 2000 is maintained by ISO, the International
Organization for Standardization and is administered by
accreditation and certification bodies.
ISO 9001:2000 helps us manage our business processes efficiently
and demonstrates our commitment to quality and continuous
improvement.
Health and Safety Management System
At Sage, we manage Health and Safety using a model based upon
the Health and Safety Executive's framework for health and safety
management – 'HS(G)65 - Successful Health and Safety
Management'.
We are considering migration of our current systems to OHSAS
18001 in the future.
Environmental Management System
We take our corporate social responsibility and environmental
impact very seriously. Our internal Environmental Management system
is based upon the principles of ISO 14001, using the same
'Plan-Do-Check-Act' system.

in the future.
