Stock Transactions

It is important for you to be able to keep track of where your stock comes from and where it goes to. Each inventory transaction which takes place is numbered and coded with a unique code to show the type of transaction which has taken place, e.g. G for goods received, T for transferred etc. A full history of each transaction is maintained and you can make enquiries and produce reports to obtain transaction information at any time.

For those products that use traceability, incoming and outgoing batches are tracked and serial numbers must be recorded appropriately. For visibility of Quality status, goods in transit, stock reserved etc., you can assign a status against a product on a lot or batch basis if your system is set up to use User Defined Stock Status and 'hold' a batch, recording an appropriate reason code if required.

Should an item of stock become obsolete or need to be suspended from use ('held') you can flag these requirements on the Inventory policy details of the stock record.
