Stock Codes

Stock items are identified by means of codes made up of a warehouse code (the two-character code identifying the warehouse in which the item is stored), and a product code (an identifier of up to 20 characters). Together these make up the stock code. Note that you are advised to use only alphanumeric characters in the product code part of your stock code – do not use the characters { or £, for example.

Note: When browsing on a stock code/product code in most options throughout the system, you can select the Enhanced Product Search option from the Browse menu, if your system is set up to use Enhanced Product Search. This also applies to Telesales Stock Extensions.
